An ideal alternative to both disposable sanitary pads and tampons, they're period wear that you throw in the wash, turning your cycle full circle. We've crafted these black short menstrual pants from soft organic cotton and a touch of stretchy elastane for everyday wear - black really does go with everything!

Holding up to 10 times more blood than a disposable tampon, the clever layered design of our Heavy size is super absorbent and moisture-wicking with a waterproof layer for leakproof protection. You'll be reaching for these oh-so-cosy short reusable period pants again and again.

Wash within 48 hours at 30 degrees using non-bio laundry powder with no fabric conditioner.

These are great!

I have been wearing another brand for years and have been happy but these are fab! They feel just like normal knickers yet are still absorbent. My daughter likes them too.

More simple than you might think! Give your period pants a rinse in cold water after use.

Wash within 48 hours at 30 degrees using non-bio laundry powder with no fabric conditioner.

For best results use a non-bio laundry powder. Do not use fabric conditioners or harsh stain removers as these can reduce the absorbency over time.

Can be tumble dried on a low setting but we recommend you don't do this every time as this can damage the waterproof layer.

You can wear your NORA period pants all day, feel free to wear them as long as you like. Only you know your flow.

If you are new to reusables or have a very heavy flow you might want to change them more regularly.

No. Smell usually comes from a build-up of bacteria. So make sure you rinse your pants as soon as you can after use.

In testing *, NORA pads showed 95% odour reduction and 99% reduction in bacterial growth.
