Curious about reusable period wear? Welcome to NORA, where No Ordinary Rules Apply. Get started today with this Try Me pack of our reusable sanitary pads.

Let's get straight to the good points, this reusable menstrual pads starter kit is comfortable, there are no nasties in them and it reduces your use of disposable sanitary pads.

In a handy 4-pack of our Celeste design, these reusable menstrual pad kits contain one each of our pad sizes:

1 x Liner - 17cm

1 x Light - 19cm

1 x Moderate - 25cm

1 x Heavy - 29cm

Great for discovering which size fits your cycle best. The slimline shape of these fun, patterned pads is contoured to fit your body, and the Heavy size holds up to seven times more blood than a disposable tampon.

Our reusable and washable period pads last for around ten years (150 washes), helping to turn your cycle full circle.

We've also included a washable pad bag, matching our playful blue-on-green pattern, for storing your eco pads when at home or on the go.

Give them a rinse in cold water after use and store them in your pad bag or laundry load until ready to wash.

Wash within 48 hours, and use non-bio laundry powder for best results.

A great idea

The idea of washable reusable pads is fantastic and the Nora pads are obviously well made, I bought some to wear for stress incontinence rather than for periods and love that I don’t have to throw the pads away after use. My criticism is that the wings are too narrow for all my briefs which causes the gusset to bunch up. In a perfect world there would be a choice of widths for the different sizes of knickers.

So comfy

My periods have been really heavy after having my second baby. The NORA pads have kept up with me and have felt really comfy, dry and safe, without moving.

FAQs

Period Pad Q's answered here

For a full rundown of all questions on periods then click here for our FAQ page

Give them a rinse in cold water after use, fold in 3 and secure with elastic and store them in your pad bag if out and about.

Unfold when home and throw in wash basket until ready to wash.

Best to wash within 48 hours of use.

For best results use a non-bio laundry powder. Do not use fabric conditioners or harsh stain removers as these can reduce the absorbency over time.

Can be tumble dried on a low setting but we recommend you don't do this every time as this can damage the waterproof layer.

How long can you wear a reusable period pad for?

We recommend changing your pad every 4-6 hours, but feel free to wear them as long as you like. Only you know your flow.

If you are new to reusables or have a very heavy flow you might want to change it more regularly.

No. Smell usually comes from a build-up of bacteria. So make sure you rinse your pad as soon as you can after use.

In testing *, NORA pads showed 95% odour reduction and 99% reduction in bacterial growth.
